I'm an experienced software designer with a passion for building useful and engaging websites and applications for everyday people like you. Contact me!

I have worked for some of the world's biggest IT companies, like IBM, Logica and OpenText, as well as small businesses like Datawright, Rednod and CloudOps. I have a Masters degree in Computer Science from Sheffield University, and a Java Certified Developer qualification from Sun (Oracle).

My expertise in software development is in capturing user requirements, designing and building applications to address the user's needs, and training and supporting those users.

Personal profile:

Beyond my technical career, I am also a writer, blogger, podcaster and trip organizer. I am a keen world traveller, having lived in the USA, Australia and Canada and travelled to Australia, Central America and Southeast Asia. Outside of work I am an improv player, runner and a writer. I am based in Hexham, Northumberland, near Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North-East of England.
